Dr. Benor,

I have a question about energy healing, and WHEE specifically.

I have recently had all my amalgam fillings replaced and am working on chelating the mercury from my body (which may take up to 2 years). I have several health issues I am working on with the help of an alternative practictioner--some are responding, some are not--at least not yet. He has told me that the mercury is causing my energy to "collapse".

I have used energy psychology techniques in the past (EFT, TAT, MATRIX, etc.), with psychologists and by myself and only 1 time did I experience a noticable change, which was HUGE and greatly appreciated, but did not hold. That was 10 years ago. I have not been successful with it since then, either with a psychologist or on myself. I undoubtedly have resistances and have worked on them. I know energy healing works, but do not understand why it is not working for me now.

Is it possible, likely, or unlikely, that the mercury in my body is interferring with my energy in such a way that it is keeping these techniques from working for me? Would WHEE likely be any more effective than the other techniques I've already tried. I definitly like simpler, and WHEE seems very appealing from what I've seen of it. I'd be willing to schedule a session with you to experience it if you think it would be successful with my physical issues--including chelating mercury and others. I will work with it myself, but must admit that I have developed the "expectation" that it won't work for me.

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

Yes, you may use my feedback. The session really was so helpful and you deserve all the success for helping people. I had been bitten by a dog last week and the pain was still with me, and so after the call, I got the information on the Whee book of Affirmations and started to read and copy the book.

As I read, pain came up and I started to do the left right tapping and talking to my body and asking it what the pain was all about and what I needed to know about the pain. I originally thought the pain was talking to me about nurturing myself. What came up for me was a little girl who lived inside me. She had been hurt, misunderstood, not heard, blamed, shamed and criticized and she was very angry and at times almost rageful. I think on some level that small child helped create many hurtful situations as she was crying out from her place of pain.

As I got in touch with that small child that is also me, she told me that she was angry that I had not protected her from the hurt and that I had not spoken up. I did a dialogue with her and promised to take good care of her, and she promised to stop creating chaos in our lives. That now we understood what we each needed and it was safe for her to come out and I really needed her to teach me how to play as I had forgotten how to have joy in my life.

I cried and cried and knew that they were tears of release and so I let them flow. I now feel lighter, as if the burden of carrying that hurtful child has been released. I also know that I can dialogue with her and we can complete our journey here in joy and gratitude for all your help.

Thank you for your wonderful work. Please know that I truly appreciate the help you have given me and that I did sign up for your newsletter and ordered your book and I will continue to use Whee and to tell other people of the benefits derived from it.

Blessings to you.

Thank you, Linda, for sharing your life challenges.

Grateful WHEE users report that WHEE can help in many different ways with all of the problems you mention.

WHEE can

- diminish the intensity of painful memories,

- diminish negative beliefs that contribute to and maintain low self-esteem,

- diminish cravings and the issues that create and drive them,

- install positive beliefs and feelings.

You can get information about these and much more from Seven Minutes to Natural Pain Release and articles available at http://paintap.com

Daniel,

Thank You for encouraging me to share.  Communication has always been difficult for me, and I have to say that coming out of my "shell" at 53 has been a scary, but freeing experience for me.  The past five years have been a very intense learning experience for me.  I have had to re-learn everything, short of eating, breathing and walking.  My husband is a very intelllegent, patient man, and it is because of him I have come as far as I have.

When I was seven years old, I was told that I had been adopted.  Although I do not remember the exact words Mom used, I have been beating myself up until recently when I decided enough is quite enough.  I remember, after thinking about what Mom said, I decided I wasnt good enough to be the scum of the earth and I just crawled iinto my shell and shut down.  I quit school in the 8th grade, and for a long time no one would get close enough to help.

My dad was an alcoholic and the medicine cabinet was always stocked with Libriums, etc.  My drug habit started young.  There was always beer, brandy, cigarettes.  It is a miracle I have am alive.  I did give it frequent breaks though.  Especially when my girls were young.  I am guilty for teaching them to drink and smoke cigarettes.  After they were in thier late teens, I went through a nervous breakdown and started doing dope instead of seeing a doctor.  Now its all history.

I may always deal with some learning and memory issues.  Through mega nutrition, and a lot of pain and emotional hell, I am impressed with how I have recovered.  How do you suggest that I handle this whole issue?  I have learned about forgiveness and I have let go of alot of the anger but some still remains.  I am very interested in knowing more about WHEE.  When You Have time, I would very much appreciate your help.

Sincerely,

Linda Shumate

I have been intensly pursuing self growth and betterment since becoming clean and sober five yrs ago. If you want to know what HELL is just ask an addict on a come down.  I kicked dope [meth] and alcohol at the same time time.  HELL.  That was my first year.  I did it all on my own, and the only thing that kept me going was a very intense desire to get better.  I wont ever go there again.  To anyone going through it,  it would be my pleasure to help you!  After my first year, I got my first computer and it was like a whole new world opened up before me.  I found  www.selfgrowth.com and a host of other web sites as well.  I have known for a long time what the core issue is and when it started.  I will be 53 in August and I have finally started to deal with it seriously.  Some times I feel like I am fumbling around in the dark.  I will go into that later on.

Anyways back to affirmations and Tapping.  I feel kind of silly doing the tapping thing, and have found that being serious about helping myself, and using my own affirmations I dont need the tapping.  I am into Brain Wave Entrainment using Binaural Beats.  I have ADD and the beats help slow me down so I can focus more on what I want to and less on what I dont want to.   I have also started to explore Bio-feed back.   I really am a gypsygirl.   My husband and  I have a travel trailer and we go where ever we want when we want.   I am typing this while watching a really cool thunder storm in South Dakota.   Its 9:30 PM and finally getting dark.  So I will say Good Night.

I found her course mind-expanding, in that it clearly demonstrates the influences of mind over violins and the people playing them.
Haven't found much by way of applications in therapy.

Cancer may be a covert suicide - a socially acceptable way out of situations that people find intolerable but that they feel incapable of changing.

Cancer may be a response to multiple stressors that overwhelm the immune system. WHEE can help with many of those stresses that are most easily lightened - i.e. Body-mind-relationships-spirit issues.
The Holmes-Rahe stress inventory (in my V2 if you have it, or can find on the Web) is a good way to get people to identify stressors they experienced from 24 months prior to the onset of the cancer and on into current life situations.

I would be very pleased to have more specifics on some of the ways in which you and your clients have found WHEE helpful. I'm always learning from other people's practices, and this helps me help others better as well.
